For children whose 2-year CDBS period starts in 2026, the cap is up to $1,158 over 2 consecutive calendar years. The balance is shared across eligible covered services.
If the treatment is covered, the child is eligible, and enough balance remains, the clinic may bulk bill Medicare for the covered items so there is no out-of-pocket cost for those covered services.
